Having had a rough childhood, Kara is well guarded around people she doesn't know. She is the type who will insult you first and only after she sees your reaction is she going to make a decision about letting you in her life or not. Being quite temperamental, Kara easily becomes irritated with people and can appear to be quite abrasive at times. However, she means well most of the time so having some patience with her is the best way to go when trying to befriend her. Most of the time it's best to let her approach you than the other way around as he has made the habit of reading a person first before anything else. |

The druid witch
The difference between Kara and most other warlocks and witches is that she chose a different path, one that has to do with the equilibrium of elements, thus becoming a druid witch.
She controls all the elements in the same manner, not picking a favorite over them. For Kara, nature is to be respected, her bond with it being stronger than the usual ties between witches and specific elements.
However, not being a full druid means she doesn't have the ability to shape shift into different animals, nor is her bond with them as strong as a normal druid's. To compensate for this lack of abilities, Kara is fond of spell casting and potion making, but her heart remains true to the druid ways.
More often than not, she offers her clients expensive ink that does not fade over time, claiming she has made it herself. In truth, the ink is just as ordinary as any other, but she casts while tattooing, making the ink permanent.

Kara as a tattoo artist
Never having the money to go to a university, Kara las lived some good years of her life selling paintings on the street. She was slowly drawn to the art of tattooing and little by little she did research and bought the needed machinery to make the tattoos. She practiced first on on whatever discarded old leathers she could get her hands on. And only after she felt confident enough in her skills she signed up to different free courses. It wasn't much that she could learn from them but the little she did was valuable. After that she started practicing on the streets, offering tattoos to junkies asking for very low prices even if she offered a pretty decent quality. Later on, she put together the little she had and attended a real course, which taught her the important things. It wasn't too hard afterwards to get a job as a tattoo artist in one of the shadiest places and slowly but surely she worked her way up to a clean and decent tattoo parlor. |
Past notes
Born in a poor family in Denmark, Kara was adopted at the age of five months by a Belgian family who desperately wanted a child but couldn't biologically have one. She was loved and cared for for four years by her adoptive family. They offered her the best life an average family could offer to a child. This was until her adoptive mother accidentally remained pregnant. After that everything turned to the worse. She was discarded and no longer loved, all attention going towards the new child. Little by little her adoptive parents started to hate her, blaming Kara for even the smallest mistake. By the time she turned eight her parents kicked her on the streets and she was left to fend for herself, begging on street corners and finding shelter in the nearby woods. Soon after that she discovered her innate magical abilities and learnt to control them more by survival necessity than by curiosity. |

While at some point Kara cared deeply for her adoptive family, she now feels nothing but animosity towards them.
